The couple claims he spent it on drugs, but he says he gave it to family and friends. Bobbitt ended up back on the streets when Kate’s husband told him he needed to go. The veteran filed a lawsuit against the couple. Claiming they used the money raised for a new car and trips. The couple denies the claim and they said they didn’t want to give him large sums for fear he would spend it on drugs. A judge ruled they had to hand the money over to Bobbitt.
