Synthetic marijuana arrest in Richmond
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Madison Co. Sheriff’s Office is reporting the arrest of a Richmond man for trafficking in synthetic marijuana.
According to the Sheriff, the Madison Co. Area Drug Task Force went to a residence on Bluegrass Homes Street in Richmond as part of an investigation. They say they found about 20 ounces of synthetic marijuana in the home. As a result, 39-year-old Christopher Carroll was arrested. He was taken to the Madison Co. Detention Center.
The Madison Co. Sheriff’s Office is warning people about the dangerous health risks associated with synthetic drugs, including severe agitation and anxiety, racing heartbeat and high blood pressure, nausea and vomiting, muscle spasms, seizures, psychotic episodes, and suicidal thoughts.
