Swimming pools opening on Saturday in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Get your swimsuits ready! Lexington’s swimming pools are opening this weekend for the summer season. The city announced that Southland, Tates Creek, Woodland, and Castlewood Aquatic Centers will open on Saturday, May 25th. Additionally, spraygrounds across the city are already open.

However, the Douglass Aquatic Center and Sprayground will not be opening this season due to renovations. They are expected to reopen sometime next year.
