Suspended Knox County deputy no longer with department
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Suspended Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy Claude Hudson is no longer employed by the department, according to the Mountain Advocate.
The well-known deputy was suspended in January after a criminal complaint was filed against him in Jackson County, where he lives. The details of the complaint were not made public.
State Police are investigating the complaint.
During his law enforcement career, Hudson was honored by the Kentucky Sheriff’s Association after being shot in the line of duty in June 2017.
