Suspects identified in fatal Lexington shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One man is in custody and the U.S. Marshals Service is looking for another in connection to a fatal shooting in Lexington last month.

Iesha Edwards was shot outside the Fox Club on Winchester Road on January 26.

She later died at the hospital.

According to the Lexington Police Department, a warrant has been issued for 28-year-old James Ragland II for Edwards’ murder.

Investigators say a fight broke out at the Fox Club and Ragland fired several shots, hitting Edwards.

They say 29-year-old Gaige Phillips helped Ragland escape.

Police say U.S. Marshals in Detroit arrested Phillips last week on a warrant for criminal facilitation to commit murder.

They are still searching for Ragland.
