Suspect search after shootings in Danville

DANVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) -The search is ongoing for the individual or individuals responsible for two separate shootings in Boyle County, Kentucky. These incidents resulted in one person being hospitalized and another tragically losing their life.

According to Danville Police, the first shooting occurred just before 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning. A 43-year-old man was fatally shot multiple times while driving a pickup truck on North Fifth Street. The victim attempted to flee from the shooter but ultimately crashed into a yard. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Approximately an hour prior to this incident, a 37-year-old man was shot while sitting in his car outside a club on Dillehay Street. Thankfully, this victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
