UPDATE: Man Arrested in Connection To Murder of Lexington Teen
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ/WCHS)- A traffic stop in West Virginia led to the arrest of a suspect in the shooting death of a 14-year old boy on Thanksgiving night in Lexington, according to a report by WCHS-TV in Charleston, West Virginia.
The ABC affiliate cites the Putnam County, West Virginia sheriff as saying his office arrested 24-year old Kevin Garcia on Friday. The TV station reported that Garcia is an illegal immigrant from Honduras.
Lexington Police went to a home on Henton Road Thursday night just before 11 where they say they found the 14-year old boy shot multiple times. The boy later died at the hospital.
The Fayette County coroner identified the victim as Angel Juarez.
Investigators have not released a motive for the deadly shooting.
