Suspect at-large after Somerset shooting

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Pulaski Co. Sheriff says that a Somerset man was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center late Sunday after being found with a gunshot wound.

According to the Sheriff, deputies were called out around 9:00 p.m. to a shooting on Ringgold Road.  When they arrived, deputies say they found Harlan J. Richardson who had been shot.

Investigators say the suspect in the shooting, 47-year old Dewayne E. Peters drove away from the scene.  His car was later found in the parking lot of the Lake Cumberland Flea Market off HWY 914.

Peters remains at-large, according to the Sheriff.  He is described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall, bald, with green eyes.  The Sheriff is asking anyone who may know Peters’ whereabouts to please contact the Pulaski Co. Sheriff’s Office at (606) 678-5145.
