Suspect in Lexington crime spree refuses to attend court hearing

Lexington police say Justin Clark faces multiple charges, including assault and burglary

UPDATE: Justin Clark refused to appear for his arraignment, so the proceeding was continued until November 21st.

His bod was set at $10,000. He is barred from going to the homes on East Fifth and Deweese Streets.

Right now, Clark is being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) A suspect charged in connection to a violent crime spree near downtown is scheduled for an arraignment Wednesday afternoon.

Police say 31-year-old Justin Clark faces charges of assault, burglary, possession of meth, and resisting arrest.

Officers allege Clark broke into a home on East Fifth Street around 1 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities say he then reportedly ran off and attacked two people inside a home on Deweese Street before being arrested at that location.

Clark’s arraignment is set for 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to court records.
