Suspect charged after guns, cocaine found in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A suspect is facing drug trafficking charges after weapons, and a large amount of suspected cocaine, were allegedly found during a search.

According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, 24-year-old Nathaniel Edison was arrested Saturday, at his home on State Road 459, near Barbourville.

Deputies say they found cocaine, marijuana, THC vapes, baggies, and several guns while searching Edison’s house.

The sheriff’s department says Edison allegedly tried to bribe deputies with cash during his arrest.

Investigators say Edison is now also charged with bribery of a public servant.
