Suspect arrested in string of burglaries on UK campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The University of Kentucky Police Department says an arrest is made in a string of burglaries on campus.

The University of Kentucky Police Department issued a crime bulletin, with a picture of the suspect, after the thefts were reported in late May and early June.

Laptops, tools, and iPads were among the items reported stolen.

The department announced on its Twitter page Tuesday the suspect was caught “red-handed.”

He is identified as Clifton Mullins.

Police say Mullins is charged with burglary.
