Suspect Arrested In Thanksgiving Robbery
A suspect in a violent Thanksgiving night robbery was arrested late Tuesday.
Colten Hite, 22, was arrested just after 11 p.m. after an officer spotted his car driving near the corner of Liberty Road and Gatehouse Place.
Police said Hite pulled over into the parking lot of the Gatehouse Apartments, but then locked himself inside his car. Police had to break the car’s windows to get him out.
Hite is accused of robbing two men on Clay Avenue, in Woodland Park, just after 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Police said Hite, along with two other suspects, robbed the men using a handgun and brass knuckles.
The three suspects got away with a wallet and a cell phone.
Police said one of the other suspects was arrested shortly after the robbery, but there still is a third suspect on the loose.
