Suspect arrested in connection to motel murder
Crista Moreno taken into custody in Louisville
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A suspect wanted for the murder of a woman at a Lexington motel is now behind bars.
Police say 35-year-old Crista Moreno was arrested Monday in Louisville. Investigators are now awaiting her transfer to Fayette County.
Officers say Moreno is accused of shooting and killing 27-year-old Helen Taylor. According to police, Taylor’s body was found at the Sportsman Motel on Winchester Road on January 16.
