An arrest is made in a connection to a bank robbery in Lexington five years ago.

Investigators ran DNA tests and when they compared the results to a nationwide DNA database and photo lineups, they identified Jermaine Butler as the suspect.
According to court documents, Butler was arrested in New York back in 2012 for an unrelated crime. When Butler was being questioned, investigators learned that his cousin, Daryl Ingram, had been using his cousin’s identity for years.
Ingram is now in custody at the Fayette County Detention Center, charged with robbery, theft of identity and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
