Suspect Arrested in 2024 Murder of Jesse Moore

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Kentucky State Police say an arrest has been made in connection with the 2024 murder of Jesse Moore, following an indictment by the Marshall County Grand Jury.

According to KSP, Post 1 detectives, with assistance from Post 3 troopers, arrested 39-year-old Haley Nelson of Bowling Green after she was identified as a suspect during the investigation.

The case was presented to the grand jury on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, where an indictment was returned charging Nelson with murder and tampering with physical evidence. An arrest warrant was issued following the indictment.

Nelson was arrested Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, in Bowling Green and was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.

Kentucky State Police say the investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details are being released at this time.
