Summer meal distribution begins June 7 for Fayette County Schools

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Summer meal distribution will begin next week at Fayette County Public Schools’ six district high schools (Bryan Station High School, Frederick Douglass High School, Henry Clay High School, Lafayette High School, Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Tates Creek High School).

No pre-orders are required for summer meal distribution, according to the district.

Meal distribution will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. beginning on Monday, June 7, 2021, and ending on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. There will be no meal distribution during the week of June 28-July 2, 2021.

Additionally, there are a variety of community organizations that plan to offer free meals to the school community throughout the summer months, including FoodChainGod’s Pantry, and Employment Solutions.
