Students Raise Money For MDA In Honor Of Former Classmate
It was a bittersweet day for one Woodford County mother and the students of Woodford County Middle School.
A student at the school, Dylan Preston, passed away last February, after struggling with muscular dystrophy.
He was such an inspiration to his fellow students, that they decided to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Dillon’s memory.
On Friday, at the school, the students announced that they’ve raised twenty seven hundred dollars.
They also gave Dylan’s mother a trinket box to commemorate the event.
