Struggling Red Kettle Campaign Needs Last-Minute Donation Boost
It has fought bad weather, and a drop in donations and volunteers.
But the Salvation Army in Lexington isn’t giving up on its push to help needy families during the holidays.
The non-profit gave out more toys and food vouchers Wednesday at its Christmas Center on South Broadway.

The Salvation Army says right now it’s almost $20,000 behind its fundraising goal.
