Streets near Transy campus back open after gas leak

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- All the streets in and around Transylvania University’s campus have reopened after being closed earlier this afternoon due to a gas leak.

Columbia Gas says a truck hit a gas main at West Fourth Street and North Broadway.

The Shearer Art Building on the Transy campus was evacuated as a precaution.
