Store door left unlocked, only anti-freeze taken

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A thief wasn’t too ambitious when he discovered  a door was left unlocked at a Lexington convenience store.

Police say they received an alarm call at around 1:15 a.m. from the Speedway on North Broadway.

When they arrIved, officers say they found an unsecured door but did not see anything obvious missing.

The store manager arrived and reviewed surveillance tape from the store.

Police say it shows a man coming into the store, looking around then grabbing a jug of anti-freeze and leaving.
