Stepfather, son arrested for conspiracy to commit murder

OWENTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A juvenile and his stepfather have been arrested, after Boyle County Sheriff Derek Robbins says the two had plans to kill other family members.

The Sheriff says deputies were sent to a home on Saturday, after a juvenile complaint was reported.  When they arrived, deputies discovered Robbins and the minor not only had a plan, but had set the plan in motion, with preparations already being made to execute the murders.

38-year-old Kenneth Brown was arrested and charged wtih two counts of conspiracy to commit murder.  He was taken to the Franklin County Detention Center.

The juvenile remains unidentified.  No word on his present location, or what charges he faces.
