State’s COVID data declines for 6th straight week
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – It’s the sixth straight week of a decline in COVID-19 cases, yet deaths are still in the double digits.
Governor Beshear reporting Sunday there were 21 new deaths, bringing the state’s death toll to 4,447 lives.
Beshear says there were 979 new cases Sunday. Which is scarily similar to the number of of Kentuckians battling COVID-19 in the hospital, that reported number is at 902 people.
As for the positivity rate it remains below seven at 6.72 percent.
