State Representative Won’t Contest 109 M.P.H. Speeding Ticket

A Kentucky state lawmaker said she won’t contest a ticket she received Tuesday for driving over 100 miles per hour in Fayette County. l

Lexington Police said Representative Regina Bunch was pulled over Tuesday for going 109 miles per hour along I-75. Bunch said she was in a hurry on her way to Frankfort and wasn’t paying attention to how fast she was driving.

Bunch said it’s no excuse for her breaking the law. She said no one is above the law when it comes to safe driving on Kentucky’s Highways. Bunch represents Whitley and a portion of Laurel County.
