State Police: Man dies after losing control of car

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – State police in Whitley County say a man died after losing control of his car last night.

Troopers say it happened around 6:30 on highway 28-29 on Browning Acres Road.

The man, Perry Farris, lost control of his car and drove off the road hitting a guidewire and a pole which flipped his car, officials say.

The Whitley County coroner pronounced him dead on the scene.

Troopers say drugs or alcohol weren’t a factor and he was wearing a seatbelt.
