State police investigating a head-on crash in Anderson County

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say in Anderson County a man is recovering after he was severely hurt in a head-on car crash.

Police say 65-year-old Lowell Barnett was turning left onto U.S. 127 from Pumphouse Road when he turned into oncoming traffic instead of completely crossing lanes.

Barnettt ran into 28-year-old Zachary Casey head-on, according to troopers.

Police say, Casey only had minor injuries and a juvenile in the back wasn’t hurt.

As for Barnett, police say, he’s stable but still at UK Hospital.
