State Police investigating fatal officer involved shooting

METCALFE COUNTY (AP)-Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Sunday morning in Metcalfe County. Police say they were responding to a domestic violence call.
A county deputy arrived and talked to 38-year-old Kenny Tomblin. Police say Tomblin then went into his home, came back outside with a rifle, and started walking towards troopers.
Police say Tomblin did not listen when they told him to put down his gun. Instead, they say he fired it.
Troopers shot back, killing Tomblin.
