State Police investigating deadly head-on collision

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly crash that happened Sunday afternoon in Rockcastle County.

According to investigators, the crash occurred just before 4 p.m. on Brindle Ridge Road. State Police say a pickup truck driven by two juveniles crossed the center line and collided head-on with a car.

The driver of the car, identified as 21-year-old Jacob Madden, was killed in the crash, according to State Police.

The two juveniles in the pickup were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
