State Police Ask People To Watch For Stranded Motorists

Due to the impending winter storm that’s expected to bring freezing rain, sleet and snow to Kentucky, State Police asked people to keep an eye out for potentially stranded motorists.

If you see someone stranded or need help yourself on the road, call 9-1-1 or call State Police toll-free at 1-800-222-5555.

State Police asked people to refrain from contacting local KSP posts about road conditions.  People are asked to call 1-866-737-3767 (#511 from a cell phone) or use www.511.ky.gov

State Police will post road closures and weather-related incidents that impact traffic flow on their Facebook and Twitter pages.
