State police ask for help finding second man wanted in double murder
MCKEE, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police confirm they’ve arrested a man in connection to a double murder in Jackson County.
Trooper Robert Purdy says the Richmond post charged 40-year-old Bobby Hammonds from McKee with murder Friday.
Purdy says the post is still looking for 41-year-old Terry Hammonds who’s wanted for conspiracy to commit murder.
According to Trooper Purdy, 35-year-old Joey Marcum and 28-year-old Whitney Venable from McKee died in Jackson County in December.
First responders found them when responding to a vehicle fire call on rock lick road.
