State opens new Fayette Social Services Office

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Department for Community Based Services has officially opened its new office in Fayette County.

The Department for Community Based Services, part of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, is the agency that provides child and adult protective services and determines eligibility for Medicaid, welfare assistance, child care assistance, food stamps and other programs.

The new office is located at 455 Park Place, Suites 120 A and B in Lexington

The Fayette County DCBS office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. eastern time.
