State Launches Online Abuse Reporting Tool
The Kentucky Department for Community Based Services has unveiled a new way to report abuse or neglect.
They say their recently-unveiled online system makes reporting non-emergency situations convenient, confidential, and secure.
DCBS Commissioner Teresa James said the website should make things easier for members of the public who want to make a report, welfare investigators, and law enforcement officials.
You can go to the website here.
It will be monitored from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
During other times, you can still call (877) KY SAFE1.
Emergency situations should be reported to 911.
