State Emergency Operations Center Now At Level II
The State Emergency Operations Center has gone to Level II because of the latest winter storm.
It’s bringing rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow.
The change in levels means that State Emergency Management and National Guard personnel at the emergency operations center are increasing communications and situational awareness among partners across Kentucky.
State Emergency Management started communicating with emergency partners statewide Monday in advance of the storm, coordinating preparations, systems and equipment tests.
