Standoff Situation Ties Up Police In Scott County
Police in Scott County had their hands full Sunday morning into the afternoon hours with a standoff situation.
Deputies said they got the call just after six in the morning for a domestic dispute. That call came after they said a man inside the home assaulted a woman. She got away, they said, going to a nearby gas station to call 911.
Police robots were used to look for the man in the home before officers themselves went in and got him out.
Officers said Craig Lynch was in the attic of the home and didn’t put up a fight. He was charged with assault and terroristic threatening.
