Standoff Ends Peacefully

Police were investigating Daniel Buckley at the Winter Garden apartments when they say Buckley ran off.
According to officers, Buckley drove away, but then crashed the car at Yellow Stone and Man O” War.

Investigators say Buckley then broke into a house on Pimlico and hid in the attic.

Police say he will get a number of charges connected directly to the standoff, as well as a marijuana trafficking charge.

One witness told us, “It didn’t look like there was a struggle or anything. He came, hid, got caught and didn’t struggle after that.” Another witness said, “ We actually don’t buy cable and this is a good reason why, we have our own version of drama right here in front of us.”

Police asked everyone in the area to stay inside their homes for the duration of the standoff.
