Stamping Ground Fire Dept. wrangles stray horses

STAMPING GROUND, Ky. (WTVQ) – After wrangling two stray horses earlier in the week, the Stamping Ground Volunteer Fire Department is now trying to find the horses’ owner.

The Stamping Ground Volunteer Fire Department says they were called out on Thursday night along Locust Fork Road near Graves Pike to help catch the two horses.

The fire department says the horses were walking down the road and were almost hit by cars a couple times. One of their firefighters got them out of the roadway and a nearby community member allowed the department to stable the horses temporarily in her stable.

The department says if the horses belong to you or you recognize them and know their owners please contact the Stamping Ground Volunteer Fire Department.
