Stabbing investigation underway on Versailles Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington police are also investigating a reported stabbing along Versailles Road following a violent incident in the area Tuesday night.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were called to Versailles Road around 7:30 p.m. for a reported stabbing. Police say one person was taken to the hospital for treatment. The extent of that person’s injuries has not been released.

Investigators have not identified a suspect, and no additional details about the circumstances of the stabbing were immediately available.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
