St. Joseph Hospital & St. Joseph East recognized in U.S. News & World Report

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Saint Joseph East and Saint Joseph Hospital, both part of KentuckyOne Health, have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as being two of the best hospitals in 2016-17 for treating heart failure.

Both facilities were named “High Performing” hospitals. Saint Joseph East was recognized for treating heart failure. Saint Joseph Hospital was recognized for treating heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

The U.S. News Best Hospitals rankings, now in their 27th year, help guide patients to hospitals that deliver outstanding care across 25 specialties, procedures and conditions. The Best Hospitals methodologies include objective measures such as patient survival, the number of times a given procedure is performed, infection rates, adequacy of nurse staffing and more.
