Spoiling success
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Imagine winning 1,017 races worth roughly $46 million.
Elliott Walden is known now for his CEO role at WinStar Farm these days. Once upon a time, he was a trainer…just like Bob Baffert.
In fact, Walden spoiled Baffert’s 1998 Triple Crown when Victory Gallop beat Real Quiet by a nose in the Belmont Stakes.
It stands as the only Triple Crown race Walden won as a trainer.
So, is it something Walden and Baffert have talked about now as both men find themselves on team Justify headed into the final leg of the Triple Crown this year?
Hear from Walden in the video.
