Special momentum

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The importance of momentum in any game is huge.  At times, gaining or losing it can seem bigger.

Like right before and after halftime.  Gaining on an opponent before the break lifts the team up.  Giving up big plays on either side of the break kills energy.

Mark Stoops knows that all too well…and says that’s what happened at Miss State…losing sight of the importance of momentum before and after halftime.
