Somerset Police ask for help in identifying 2 burglary suspects

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ)- Somerset Police is now asking for help in identifying 2 men who broke into Somerset High School Thursday, July 26.

When police arrived, they discovered through security video footage that two white men had entered the school around 1:22am and went through several areas of the school taking small items such as athletic shoes, clothing and other small items.

Police say that after leaving the school the men stole a 1993 Isuzu flatbed truck located on the property which belonged to CCI Industrial Services.The truck was being used by contractors currently working at the school due to the new construction taking place.

The Isuzu was located at Shopville Elementary School the following day by a representative of CCI.

The Somerset Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the subjects involved. Anyone with information as to the identity of the subjects involved or information on the burglary are encouraged to contact the Somerset Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 606-678-5176 or contact 911.
