Some schools left without power

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Power has been restored at Anderson County schools after a morning outage briefly impacted multiple facilities.

According to the district, the outage began around 9:52 a.m. Tuesday at Emma B. Ward Elementary, Ezra Sparrow Early Childhood Center, and the Central Office.

Superintendent officials said Bluegrass Energy crews arrived within 10 minutes and had power fully restored by 10:35 a.m. Phone service has also returned to normal, and all schools are operating as usual.
