Solid Blue fans in Lexington cheer Cats to SEC Title

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Restaurants and bars were packed Sunday in Lexington as Solid Blue fans cheered the Kentucky Wildcats on to the SEC Title. Crowds of people lined up outside Lynagh’s Pub and Grill, hoping to snag a seat to watch the game.

While many of the Solid Blue faithful stayed focused on Nashville, some were also thinking about the NCAA Tournament. Martin Malone told us, "Kentucky’s going to hold it down, it doesn’t even matter. It really doesn’t matter. Nobody can handle them. Best team in the country."

Looking ahead to the NCAA, the Cats play Thursday at 9:45 p.m. at the Yum! Center in Louisville. They’ll go up against the winner of the Manhattan-Hampton game.
