Solid Blue fans crowd local bars for gameday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The tough loss and cold weather didn’t stop solid blue fans from hitting the town for the game.

Many solid blue fans packed bars like Tin Roof on South Limestone. Some fans spend as much as 100 dollars to reserve tables for their friends. They say there’s nothing like watching a game in a UK atmosphere, even when the cats don’t win.

It’s so much fun to watch a game here. I come every Saturday, I’m not a UK fan, and I reserve a table for every Saturday,” said Erin Mclaughlin.

Many solid blue fans say they expect to head back to Tin Roof Tuesday for the Ole Miss game.
