Smash-and-grab robbery at cell phone store

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery at a cell phone store.

They say someone used a brick to break out the glass door at Boost Mobile on East New Circle Road at around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police say a man with his face covered then went into the store and started grabbing merchandise.

Police say he took about $1,000 in merchandise.

They are still searching for the suspect.
