Small Fire At JIF Plant In Lexington

There was a small fire at the JIF plant on Winchester Road in Lexington Friday afternoon, according to Lexington Fire officials.

Investigators said a peanut maker container caught fire.

The fire was contained to the machine.

No one was injured.

As a precaution, the plant was partially evacuated.
