Slowed Traffic Causes 5-Car Crash On I75

 A five-car crash closed down part of I75 in Lexington Sunday night.
 Lexington police said it started when traffic slowed near mile marker 120 at around 10:30 p.m.
 Police said a car hit another car from behind after it slowed down and that caused a chain-reaction crash involving three other vehicles.
 Police said one of the cars flipped.
 Only one person was injured, according to police. That driver was treated at the scene for a cut on her arm.
 They said, unfortunately, a dog that was in the car that flipped over jumped out of the vehicle, ran down the interstate and was hit and killed by car.
 Lexington police said they are still investigating the crash.
