Six Juveniles Charged With Vandalizing Milk Delivery Trucks
Shortly after one in the morning on Monday, Sheriff’s Deputies said they found more than ten Borden milk delivery trucks with their windshields broken out, electronics torn out, doors forced open and extensive damage.
Investigators said a company car on the fenced-in lot also suffered extensive damage along with refrigerated trailers.
Damage was estimated in the thousands of dollars, according to investigators.
Deputies said they followed tracks from the vandalism scene to a nearby residence where muddy shoes were found outside the front door of the residence on Fire Station Road.
As a result of the investigation at the home, six juveniles were taken into custody and charged with criminal mischief, first degree and criminal trespassing, second degree, according to investigators.
The juveniles were released to their parents and grandparents and would be assigned court dates, according to investigators.
