Sitting on a winner

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Derby dreams.  Every connection in horse racing has them.  It’s the pinnacle of the sport and the one race everyone knows.  So it’s the Super Bowl for every trainer, owner, jockey…and horse.

Bob Baffert has 4 times made the trip to the winners’ circle on the first Saturday in May to collect roses.

Gary Stevens has made that trip 3 times sitting on top of the Derby winning horse.

The two would like to return to that spot this Saturday with Mor Spirit.

Stevens is sold he’s sitting on a winner, but what’s Baffert’s take on that?
