Signs Vandalized in Daniel Boone National Forest
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Rangers with the U.S. Forest Service in the Daniel Boone National Forest say several signs have been vandalized.
Rangers say the new signs cost hundreds of dollars apiece, and that many have been vandalized with vulgarities too explicit to post online. Staff has reportedly been spending hours trying to remove graffiti from the signs, with only partial success.
Rangers are asking visitors who come to the National Forest to report vandalism to the Forest Service Law Enforcement at (606) 864-4163, or to Kentucky State Police at (606) 878-6622.
