Shooting suspect arrested in Pulaski County
PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man considered armed and dangerous is in custody in Pulaski County.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says 55-year-old Mark Showalter was arrested without incident at his home in Eubank at 10:08 p.m. Monday.
Showalter was arrested in connection with the shooting of 49-year-old Allison Boclair.
She was found at her home Sunday morning, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
Showalter is charged with attempted murder and is in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.
Deputies arrested another suspect in the shooting.
Showalter’s son, Timothy Showalter, was arrested Sunday afternoon.
He is charged with complicity to commit assault and burglary.
The sheriff says the case will be presented to a grand jury and additional charges could be filed against both suspects.
